Take it all in. Let it all out.

Always remember. Never forget.
Grow older. Stay young at heart.

Remember me. Stay true to yourself.

Be an individual. Stick with your friends.

Have no regrets. Learn from your mistakes.

Laugh. Cry.

Strive for the best. Share the spotlight.

Be confident. Admit when you're wrong.

Give yourself more credit. Take the blame.

Think for yourself. Think twice.

Love more. Hate less.

Miss it lots. Move on.

Be prepared. Be spontaneous.

Improve yourself. Never change.

I'll always be here. Things won't always be the same.

Don't miss it by blinking. Close your eyes and breathe it in.

Be strong. Ask for help.

Reach the top. Don't fall.

Believe in miracles. Don't depend on them.

Live for today. Look toward tomorrow.

A well-known speaker started off his seminar by holding up a Rupee 500 note. In the room of 200,

He asked, "Who would like this Rupee 500 note?"

Hands started going up.

He said, "I am going to give this note to one of you but first let me do this."

He proceeded to crumple the note up.

He then asked, "Who still wants it?"

Still the hands were up in the air.

"Well," he replied, "What if I do this?"

And he dropped it on the ground and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe. He picked it up, now all crumpled and dirty.

"Now who still wants it?"

Still the hands went into the air.

"My friends, you have all learned a very valuable lesson.

No matter what I did to the money.

You still wanted it because it did not decrease in value. It was still worth Rupee 500/-.

Many times in our lives, we are dropped, crumpled and ground into the dirt by the decisions we make and the circumstances that come our way. We feel as though we are worthless.

But no matter what has happened or what will happen,Never lose your value.

You are special. Don't ever forget it! Never let yesterday's disappointments overshadow tomorrow's dreams.
"VALUE HAS A VALUE ONLY IF ITS VALUE IS VALUED"

staying young :)

HOW TO STAY YOUNG....My Personal Likes..

1. Throw out nonessential numbers. This includes age, weight and height. Let the doctors worry about them. That is why you pay 'them.'

2. Keep only cheerful friends. The grouches pull you down.

3. Keep learning. Learn more about the computer, crafts, gardening, whatever. Never let the brain idle. 'An idle mind is the devil's workshop.' And the devil's name is Alzheimer's.

4. Enjoy the simple things.

5. Laugh often, long and loud. Laugh until you gasp for breath.

6. The tears happen. Endure, grieve, and move on. The only person, who is with us our entire life, is ourselves. Be ALIVE while you are alive.

7. Surround yourself with what you love , whether it's family, pets, keepsakes, music, plants, hobbies, whatever. Your home is your refuge.

8. Cherish your health: If it is good, preserve it. If it is unstable, improve it. If it is beyond what you can improve, get help.

9. Don't take guilt trips. Take a trip to the mall, even to the next county; to a foreign country but NOT to where the guilt is.

10. Tell the people you love that you love them, at every opportunity.

AND ALWAYS REMEMBER :
Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away .

family

Weather here is cold..winters and rains merge to give us longer cold days. Its not that it goes minus. But @ times it goes deeper into skin and makes one shudder. Summers are short and pleasant. But a decade ago or so the weather used to be raw and wild which is not often seen these days.Anyways I love the weather then and now...as its not the weather that I am in love with. Its My place..my soil ..the place where I was born, my childhood memories, where all my family members were married..their kids...cousins..friends..wow!Haven't I named it right? Can u deny that?
I come from a family of five..dad had settled there when he was twelve  and got married to my mom.Now we are 16members. Just because two people fell in love!!My dad and mom...Call it a clan, call it a network, call it a tribe, call it a family. Whatever you call it, whoever you are, you need one.Now my brother and my sister are in Coorg. The rest have migrated to different places of the world. But we relish those moments when we get back to our abode...Its filled with noise, musiq , games, chattering, cooking, songs..what not? All of us want to listen and be listened to.Time just flies then. I am the youngest of the lot and get pampered big time and secretly I relish , I enjoy those moments. I become a child!
Its not that we are filthy rich and filled with luxuries but because we feel comfortable, wanted and loved back home.We just love being side by side. To us, family means putting your arms around each other and being there. When our relatives are at home, we have to think of all their good points or it would be impossible to endure them(not all). You don't choose your family. They are God's gift to you, as you are to them.If one feels God has done a mistake, don't worry one has all freedom to CHOOSE a friend...but families are families and they have no substitutes.
Sometimes just remembering them gives a lot of strength from within..We were (and continue to be) a strange little band of characters trudging through life sharing diseases and toothpaste, coveting one another's desserts, hiding shampoo, borrowing money, locking each other out of our rooms, inflicting pain and kissing to heal it in the same instant, loving, laughing, dancing ,defending, and trying to figure out the common thread that bound us all together..my dad and mom!OuR Family...Someone has rightly said, Blood's thicker than water..
Not one will ask how many friends do u have but the question will be about the family...I am so blessed and it keeps me going.Don't know the reason behind writing this but felt that I have to share this thought process. Thinking in this line has made me feel nice from within ,a kinda energy(I'm not sure whether this is the right word).Got what I wanted to convey right?More in the next..a lil emotional now..I'm signing off.

comfort zone

My comfort zone and  my inhibitions!
Have you ever been so warm in your bed in the morning that you never want to get out?
Talk about a “comfort zone.” Now, say you had to get out for something good…like a great smelling breakfast wafting through the doors. That would be some incentive. But say what awaited you wasn’t so pleasant: something mundane like laundry or cleaning. But what’s worse, say what awaited you was something tortuous: like running into a fire or jumping into an ice-cold pool. Wouldn’t be so alluring to get out of your warm, comfortable bed, would it?
What is on the other side of your comfort zone? Is it the person at the store who needs some encouragement? Is it the lonely girl in your class who no one wants to talk to?Is it the moody colleague of yours?  Maybe it’s the needy people around the world who could benefit from the sacrifice of your finances. It could be anything or anyone; but one thing is sure: there is someone who could benefit from you stepping out of your comfort zone. My life was radically changed because my brother  was willing to do  certain things he didn’t want to but felt God called him to. And he reached out to a girl who had tons of problems ( in her head)  and wasn’t always appreciative. But because he sacrificed his comfort, my life has been forever changed.
Who could you help by stepping outside of your comfort zone? It’s not easy to spend our time, energy  or words when it feels uncomfortable or inconvenient. But someone’s entire life could be bettered by it. There is a blind school for kids on my way to office and  after months finally I made it . It  becomes tough to chose when one is in comfort zone. I know it as I have experienced it!  Just think about what I said yeah I know am an ordinary girl but this is extremely important .....End of our lives we might have succeded in acquiring what we want but we should also be content that we were worth the gifts we possess , we should be useful to the people around us - be it our families or the society we live in .
So Know how you are stepping out of your comfort zone or how you have been helped by someone else or you are helping someone else.....but bottom line is KNOW!!!
